Carter’s Coffee Bar is a small, family-owned business started by a mother and daughter who believe great coffee should come with genuine connection. As we put down roots in Columbia, our goal is to be more than a place to grab a drink. We want to show up, support local causes, and be part of the everyday moments that make this community feel like home.

Our Story

Carter’s Coffee Bar was established on May 1st, 2020 introducing drive-thru only coffee stands to the Quincy, IL region.

“We started Carter’s Coffee Bar in memory of Owen Carter. He was an incredible dad and husband to us. He was the definition of giving with a generous heart and that is what we want to do. After fighting a 2-year battle with brain cancer, he passed away in 2017.  We miss him so much, but love how we can now give back to the community and have his legacy live on through Carter’s. We are beyond thankful for the communities we are in and our customers!  We are looking forward to partnering with foundations and other community events to support the people in our area.”
